In the Garden of God

Most of us have heard the expression, "Bloom where you are planted," but this is not so easily accomplished. The soil has to be just right, the amount of rain and sunshine, and yes, even the occasional pruning.    However, God is the Master Gardner, and he knows exactly what kind of attention each one of us needs. Each one of us is unique and serves a mighty purpose in God's garden. He is cultivating our soil. He is removing the un-needed components and adding the necessary ingredients. The definition of cultivate is: to prepare for crops; foster growth and to refine. When the soil has been cultivated, God will send the rain of His Holy Spirit and shine His light upon us. When needed, He will prune us, removing the unwanted branches. (The branches that so not bear fruit). So let us embrace this process of cultivation, so that we may "Bloom where we are planted," and fulfill the purpose for which we are called in Christ Jesus.
